Carved Shark Tooth Fossil

Hi,
I found these teeth several years ago on a beach near Venice, Florida. At the time, I didn’t notice the one with what appears to be a primitive type carving on it.

I do not normally hunt nor collect shark teeth so any expert opinions would be great appreciated:)

Wow, the ‘design’ looks so unnatural. But good to know. Thanks!

The pattern is what is inside the tooth, as if you cut part of it off, or ground it down.

Mark.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
