Ludwigia
That is certainly not an Oxycerites, but I'm not quite sure at all what it might be. There are a lot of stratigraphical stages, zones and horizons from the Bajocian up into the Late Jurassic represented there. Do you know which one this comes from? There are many ammonites there which have this form and it is difficult to distinguish between them when the shell with its ornamentation is gone and I'm afraid that I can't decipher the suture lines. 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Ludwigia
It may be a Lissoceras, but for the reasons I've already mentioned, I'm not at all certain. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
