Mammal vertebrate bone , what type?

Whale, by the looks of it; possibly sperm. Would you be able to post clear, hands-free photos of it from all sides? Lit well and in focus are preferred :P

I also think you have whale... possibly a caudal (tail) vertebra.

1) You should search the internet and get a feeling for what they look like when not as worn as yours.

2)  You should specify measurements , preferably in millimeters or centimeters.

The discussion is Do you have whale?  or Do your have dolphin ?  Whale verts are mostly bigger.

 

I am not sure I could tell the difference between a Sperm Whale Caudal Vertebra and a Baleen Whale Caudal Vertebra.  The most likely candidate for Sperm whale in the Peace River is Kogiopsis .sp
