Shellseeker
There are always curiosities: Out with my son, visiting for the week. these are his 3 best finds. Sanddollar. @Sacha Can you confirm Abertella or not? A bone. All suggestions greatly appreciated. Finally , a Meg. Was this Meg "in process". If so, did it fill with dentine or river mud? Tidgy's Dad
Not a clue, of course, but I'm rather intrigued with the answers here as well. Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
Sacha
I have no idea what you have there Jack. It doesn't look anything like A. dengleri to me.
Al Dente
Jack- I don't think you will be able to get an ID on the sand dollar because there isn't enough of it there. I can see only 1 fragment of a single ambulacrum. The rest are missing.
Meganeura
Pure speculation here - but I believe the Meg is part of one that originally was in process/is a file tooth, as the filling looks to be River mud that’s hardened as opposed to the normal fossilized filling I’ve seen on Megs. Fossils? I dig it.

My feeling was Miocene. Meg pieces, ray teeth and broken spines, small sharks including Sand Tigers, Dugong ribs, ONCE a dolphin tooth....in a previous trip Then I found this fragment and hoped there was enough for you to ID. I realized it was a very long shot. Now I will focus on the bone...
