Carcharodontosaurus tooth with repairs and restoration?

I saw this tooth for sale and it looks like it has restoration on the yellow batches, however seller strongly believes there are no repairs nor restorations, want opinions on whether you think it has restoration.

The photos have too much glare on them to tell but its a crown attached to a necklace base.   So the base must have epoxy on it which destroys it as a collectable tooth.    Are you buying a tooth or necklace?
