New Members TRM Posted January 3, 2023 New Members Share Posted January 3, 2023 Found this by Southfield Road, Lathrup Village, Michigan more than 50 years ago, so it could have come in limestone used for road construction. Is it a fish fin (as I assumed at the time) or perhaps a crinoid crown?
jpc
Fun find... not a fish fin, but a coral fossil.
TqB
I don't think it's a coral, this bit in particular looks like fractured shell. So more likely brachiopod or bivalve. Edited January 3, 2023 by TqB Tarquin
