My husband and I found this guy while searching for shells on our cruise to Mexico. We need help with the ID. TIA.

Looks like some sort of gastropod to me.

 

Maybe @MikeR or @Coco  will have an idea.

Hi,

 

Yes, a gasteropod, but perhaps recent one. May we have more informations please ? Where and how was it found ? On a beach ? Age of the land so known (geological map) ? Mexico is so vast !
