For those who might be interested, the third annual meeting of the Southeastern Association of Vertebrate Paleontology will be held at the S.C. State Museum this coming June 2-4th. On each day, there will be a series of lectures from various members on fossils and fossil sites of importance in the Southeastern U.S. On the final day, there is a banquet held in the evening, if I recall. Here is the website link so you can read all about it:

I'll be there, and cannot wait for it!! I know I live and work in Long Island NY, but I grew up in Gainesville, FL and will always be devoted to SE vert paleo. I only wish it made sense for me to host the meeting at NYCOM, we have space and funding for it.

I hope to meet many of you at the meeting!
