joaoarguello3
Hello everyone, today I bought this small ammonite. The seller told me that it was from Morocco. Can you identify which species it belongs to? Here he left some images:
Ludwigia
You didn't put your request through the translator, but I think I understand you anyway. I believe you have a Parkinsonia there. 1 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/

caterpillar
I don't think it's Parkinsonia. Parkinsonia is more compressed and the turns are higher 1 http://www.paleotheque.fr

caterpillar
Difficult to say without informations about the level. I think these are the inner whorls of a Perisphinctidae and I'm not sure it's from Morocco. Maybe Madagascar 1 http://www.paleotheque.fr

I'll have to agree with caterpillar. I must apologize that I sometimes to get my 'p's mixed up and sometimes end up calling a Perisphinctes a Parkinsonia, which is actually what I originally meant to do. In other words, I meant to suggest that your ammonite could be a Perisphinctes. This would place the stratigraphy in all likelihood in the Late Jurassic. Sorry about that. 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
joaoarguello3
Thank you both, I completely agree with the morphology. The truth is that I am not fully sure that it is from Morocco, that is what the seller told me nothing more. But thanks for helping with identification
