Hey guys,

I'm new to this site and forum. I was just at Tybee island in Georgia and found these on the beach. I was wondering if someone can tell me if these are shark teeth. I've found some down in Venice beach in FL before but these look different. Almost as if the root broke off but the curiosity is killing me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!PXL_20230417_224208990_MP.thumb.jpg.5ba85013d149ddbaa31b15a4c330cb6b.jpgPXL_20230417_224221386.thumb.jpg.a0a023a25f372859570e65f380b711be.jpgPXL_20230417_224253426_MP.thumb.jpg.900d3f44bd715bef38c7b328e78824c4.jpgPXL_20230417_224247925.thumb.jpg.68f228df869a333dad3104f3cb31dae7.jpg

Sorry to disappoint but no, those look like oyster bits. You definitely want to do some online searches for fossil shark teeth so you can start to learn what to look for. You are looking for the right shape, but shape alone does not a fossil make. Keep searching!
