They are from Andamooka White  Dam 

the silica crystal opal filled crack on quartzite .

Some others specimen 

i splited a few Éthiopien Géode but one was a jackpot.

i am so lucky that one just splited in half 

the geode was full of precious chocolate opal . That are extinct now .

it’s very rare when you have snake skin Paton

Rare specimens 

Éthiopien Geode that contains a Stem plant in the volcanic crystal opal 

the others are volcanic lava tubes replaced by crystal opal .

The best opalised Éthiopien volcanic geode have seen  was a Boudha sculpted in the chocolate opal by Kevin Ma 

the copyrights of the picture is Francois Mazzero ,I think it was on the cover of a geological book.

this is my splited geode 

So lucky that the opal didn’t shuttered

That Peacock was sculpted on Matrix Opal from Andamooka by Kevin Ma 

one of a kind
