Ludwigia
Information as to location and stratigraphy might lead to an answer. 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
FB003
Formation? Locality? Anything else as far as background might help. 1 *Frank*
Fossildude19
I agree with Roger, ... a location found, and context of the find would help. Location could be as vague as County or region. Some people find things on vacation, or while otherwise traveling, so it is always best to include location found. I am assuming this was found in South Dakota? How do you know it is Cenomanian in age? 1 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 IPFOTM -- MAY - 2024 _________________________________________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Ludwigia
The geology is Cretaceous, but you were asked how do you know that it's Late Cenomanian? If so, your vertebra could come from one of the Sauroptergia, but I'm no expert on that subject, and the preservation isn't all the best. Greetings from the Lake of Constance.
