Maxaurus
Hi all, I'm currently looking for a grallator track. What do you think about this one? Location is the Connecticut River Valley, Massachusetts. As the seller is a very dedicated fossil collector I'm sure that it is genuine. patelinho7
Looks nice! I like that they did not dye it, or if they did, very minimally, as I can't tell. Reflects well on the seller

The track is good I just want to add that the seller being a dedicated fossil collector has little bearing on whether a fossil is genuine or not 2 Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!
Maxaurus
@-Andy- thanks for feedback. Yes you‘re right. I just wanted to state that the seller is a dedicated hunter of footprints and shares his experiences with people for several years. That made him trustworthy to me. This week my grallator footprint arrived. See below the pictures with different illumination. Ichnogenus: Grallator Location: Connecticut River Valley, Granby, Massachusetts Age: 205-200 million years (early jurassic) Slab size: ~23x20cm / 9.0x7.9“ Footprint size: ~13cm / 5.1“ Weight: 5.7kg / 12.4lbs I‘m very happy with the footprint quality because all digits are present, even pads and also claw imprints are partially visible – and not enhanced with color or mud collapsed. The track is not superficial, it is prominent with sufficient rock surface surrounding the track. I also do not necessarily need optimal illumination to see the track sufficiently. I prefered a mold footprint because it is the actual fossil (which was made by a theropod) for me instead of a cast. Can anyone say if this footprint is the left or the right foot? Thanks for your support in buying this fossil. Best regards, Max
