New Members gbno_guobin Posted December 29, 2023 New Members Share Posted December 29, 2023 Shellfish, ... but what kind? Guizhou Province, China. Ordovician period. They are from Suiyang County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, China I think they should be some shellfish, but I would like to get more information about them. Thanks!
FranzBernhard
Welcome to TFF from Austria! Nice!! Do you have an age for them - from what formation are they? I don´t know, what they are, I can´t even decide between brachiopods or bivalves* with certainty. *They look all bilateral symmetric, so brachiopods. BUT: Superficially, many of them remind me somewhat of cardiid bivalves and the singular smooth one of glycymerid bivalves, which both are quite bilateral symmetric... Ludwigia
I'm leaning toward brachiopods. 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/

Baking Geologist
Brachiopods for sure. But I bow to the others who know genus and species better than I.
ClearLake
Yes to brachiopods, but I'm not familiar with Chinese forms at all. I'd have to leaf through the Treatise to find something similar.
Tidgy's Dad
Orthid brachiopods. Very nice. Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
