If you know anything about modern white sharks, how big are teeth of this size?  The size is 58mm. How big was this great white shark? Are great white shark teeth of this size large?

If my information is not wrong I would say around 5 meters. But estimation should be made from first or second upper anterior tooth. Other tooth placements would give different results and are less precise.

There's no such thing as too many teeth.

thank you for telling me.  Is a 5 meter great white shark big?

You wouldn't want to be swimming in the water with it, that is for sure.

I recall reading an article about longest GW ever measured and the were a couple slightly over 6 meters.

The tooth below is a fossilized GW found in Florida by a friend who traded Megalodons.  It is slightly under 75 mm and I could have purchased but felt the price was more than I was willing to afford.

That is impressive size tooth.

I think Great whites were larger at prehistoric times, but Im not sure why.

But even the 5 meters I gave should be considered as maximum length.

Quick google gives 20 feet as a maximum length, a little over 6.5 meters.

Maximum length for shark that this tooth is from.

The length, while impressive, doesn't account for its width, likely making it even more terrifying. A 20-ft tank!
