Does anybody else see the lizard head? I think I have a small lizard fossil.

Pareidolia.

Not seeing any kind of lizard fossil.

Where was this found?  Country, state, region/county would be helpful.

Are lizard fossils known from the area?

Your item, compared with two fossil lizard skulls, and one modern.

Sorry, I am just not seeing any resemblance.

The Peltosaurus is from the White River Formation of South Dakota, often called The Badlands.  I don't like that terminology because Badlands refers to any area where the terrain is rough and has very few plants.  Badlands exist in many many formations here in the American west including the White River, Bridger, Washakie, Wasatch, Hell Creek, etc.

Rant over.
