ID for this Lincoln Creek Formation Crab?

It looks different from Pulalius Vulgaris, has a more flattened carapace, and one claw is noticeably larger.

Hi MB.   I would have guessed purpureous, but that would have been a guess.  I wish I had a picture book with all the washington crabs to make this easier.

Hi RB, Panopeus purpureus it's an extant crab:

I don't know where the name Panopeus purpureus came from for the fossil, perhaps from a wrong identification some time ago that has been dragging on over time.
