casadelshawn
Got a new box of mixed KemKem material the other day; plenty of Spino, Carch, small theropod, croc, fish, and other usual suspects, but I can't put a name to this one. I'm fairly sure it's theropod, but since there is so little info available, it's hard to say which one. Anyone recognize this little fella? It's 32mm long by 21.5mm at the widest point; the grid squares are 1"/25.4mm. I can take additional pix if needed. Thanks!
Opabinia Blues
Very interesting little phalanx. Definitely dinosaurian, but not from any theropod I recognize. It actually looks more like an ornithischian phalanx, but of course there aren't too many of those described from Kem Kem. Not to say it isn't theropod, it's just curious looking. You might have an oddity. “The worse the country, the more tortured it is by water and wind, the more broken and carved, the more it attracts fossil hunters, who depend on the planet to open itself to us. We can only scratch away at what natural forces have brought to the surface.” - Jack Horner
