Does anybody else go to mines in the summertime because of the river levels are too high

You mean go underground? As far as I know, active mines don't let you in without a special permit.

Ok. I was just curious. I don't hunt in rivers, so the question is pretty irrelevant for me.

Mine spoil piles and quarries are a viable alternatives, so long as you have permission to hunt there, and follow any safety regulations.

Mosiac owns most of the mines, both active and closed.

If they catch you once, you will likely get a citation from the local sheriff office. Twice, you go to jail.

Quarries are a PIA to get access to now, because everyone is worried about getting sued because someone stubs a toe.  Its just easier to say no to everyone.
