amour 25
Well I finally made a trip to the river. Nice day spent about 4 hours as it was a tad high could of crossed to the other side about knee high but why bother when it is up. So I found these right here not the best but hey after all the footprints and beer cans lucky to find anything. I do hate the slob kids that come out set fires leave them half burning and go home. Last time I had to throw sand on one with some good size pieces still blazing. Dang kids and some collage ones at that leave so much trash behind it is unreal. Sorry to rant but well when the land across the street was a farm area was nice and clean now all $500,000 to $700,000 homes and the place looks like a dump ground. I guess the rich ones are slobs. Rant over Adding this one a quite old Beaver jaw. Edited July 1, 2010 by reef Jeff

West4me
That looks like a great day! Love the artifacts, just found my first yesterday. For as long as I have been in the woods in Alaska, Wyoming, Washington, and Missouri, I am amazed you found all that in one trip Thanks for sharing your finds. "You have to listen. Fossildude19
Great finds, and good report. S'okay to rant - who else you gonna rant too??? We all run into this, and I think it's neat how it seems that everyone here tries to make the places we go to cleaner or better than we found it. Thanks for sharing. PrehistoricFlorida
Nice horse metapodial. It looks as if one of the side splints is still attached, which is unusual to find. www.PrehistoricFlorida.com
amour 25
Nice horse metapodial. It looks as if one of the side splints is still attached, which is unusual to find. Actually the one that surprised me the most was the Bison Radius Ulna. I have not found many that were as one. Cheers Jeff
