Don Would have been nice, but there's not much in the way of fossils in the area we were in (Odenwald) with the exception of the Grube Messel, which is in itself quite exceptional, but you're not allowed to collect there since it's a protected site. Of course that was on the itinerary, so we booked a tour there and I'll be giving a report here about that sooner than later. Greetings from the Lake of Constance.
