very small piece of driveway gravel with what looks like a fossil of oatmeal flake

oblong oval with point at top end, less of a point at bottom end, thinking some sort of leaf or tiny critter fossil.  not clear in the pic, but there are some lines or some such down the middle of the thing.

We are really going to need in focus pictures to ID some of these.  Sometimes if you move a bit further away the camera will have a better chance of focusing.  You can then crop the picture so its not a tiny rock on a big table.

Can't say for sure, with such a blurry photo, but it could be the imprint of a Platycrinites crinoid columnal.

We do need a better, more in focus photo.

 

Here is a link to a Platycrinites that was found by another member for comparison.

Another thing you might consider if it is small enough and has lines enough lines would be fusulinid. I actually tend to agree with Platycrinites though.
