cpagak
oblong oval with point at top end, less of a point at bottom end, thinking some sort of leaf or tiny critter fossil. not clear in the pic, but there are some lines or some such down the middle of the thing. ClearLake
We are really going to need in focus pictures to ID some of these. Sometimes if you move a bit further away the camera will have a better chance of focusing. You can then crop the picture so its not a tiny rock on a big table. 1
Fossildude19
Can't say for sure, with such a blurry photo, but it could be the imprint of a Platycrinites crinoid columnal. 4 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 IPFOTM -- MAY - 2024 _________________________________________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." FossilNerd
We do need a better, more in focus photo. Here is a link to a Platycrinites that was found by another member for comparison. 1 The good thing about science is that it's true whether or not you believe in it. -Neil deGrasse Tyson Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don't. -Bill Nye (The Science Guy)
Rockwood
Another thing you might consider if it is small enough and has lines enough lines would be fusulinid. I actually tend to agree with Platycrinites though.
