Brevicollis
Hello, ive seen many of those british "dinosaur footprints" from Sussex and wondered if they're real casts that formed naturally or just funny shaped stones that someone interpreted a Dino-footprint in. In case you dont know what im talking about : The bottom one was identfied as ankylosaurid, all others werent identfied. If someone knows if theyre real or not, or if there are some scientific papers about them that you can link in the replies, Thanks ! Ludwigia
Maybe @Welsh Wizard has an idea? Or @Notidanodon ? Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
Notidanodon
Hmm it’s hard to know really, I don’t see the middle one, really you need geological context. There is the right strata in Sussex to find them bottom one looks weird to me too. This is what I would expect
FF7_Yuffie
I saw these too. I personally think they are a mix--some probably footcasts, others are slightly footcast shaped rocks. I think with these casts rather than prints in a solid matrix, it is just very hard to tell for certain. I dont have any prints from Sussex, but here are two of mine from the North Yorkshire coast and they are very distinct and clearly footprints. 2
patelinho7
The first one looks okay. But I'm no expert on UK footprints.
