any help or advice to open this up its the size of a rugby ball thank-you

Looks like mostly chert and solid chert isn't going to open up very easily. A diamond wet-saw/rock saw is the only option I see.

You could also smash it to bits with a sledgehammer, but that probably wouldn't bring the result you want...

Thanks think I'll go straight down the middle Tomorrow with a sthil saw and diamond blade

Could you take some close-up pics, from different angles, of all except the 2 in the back?

Ok none of these look like meteorites. I am not sure where you found all of these rocks( which are very interesting). If you found these in the same general location it seems to me is that you stumbled on a mineral collection that someone tossed out. Maybe the owner passed away, and the remaining family didn't want it and didn't know how to get get rid of it. Things like this do happen. Some of what you have shown are decent pieces which deserve to be kept.

I found some in Bath in a river system the green ones and the big stones outside I found in Hull on a old railway system thank-you

Most or all of the previous ones (blue, green, black, brown) are industrial slag, probably from steel smelting.

 

The last one looks like flint.

Steel making slag (from Co. Durham). It's often used as track material and on railways:

Yes, that's mostly slag, along with what looks like bits of limestone and sandstone.
