Borges
Hi, As if it identifies a trilobite is fake, using UV light? How is the trilobite if it is fake and how is the trilobite if it is true, using UV light? Thanks, Carlos/Brasil
jpc
I am not sure, but if there are pieces of the trilobite that have been reconstructed they might look different under UV light. If you are buying trilobites, maybe buy a lousy one which is not likley to be fake and see if it differs form a nice one. These are just thoughts... anyone else have any thoughts, or even real knowledge?
