Found this is Southern California.

Pretty interesting and cool find,  but I definitely want to get some feedback and opinions on it.

Welcome to the forum!  Sorry, not seeing any sort of skull here.  For a skull, one would expect to see bone texture, symmetry, and features such as eye sockets, a jaw, etc.

I also do not see a skull of any kind here. It appears to be a geologic artifact of some sort.

Differentially weathered and cracked rock with an interesting shape to it, but certainly not a fossilized skull.

Looks like it might possibly be part of a septarian concretion. No bone texture. No symmetry. No skull features.

On your second one, I see some nice veins of minerals but I don't recognize any fossils in it.  And it is not a skull either if that was the question.
