The Winner of the June 2010 Vertebrate Find Of The Month is the Unidentified sea bird from the late Miocene / early Pliocene Tangahoe formation of Taranaki, NZ - found and prepared by Dave (POM) Allen! It is an incredible find Dave; congratulations!

Woot! Great specimen, but now You'll have to set your security system to high in case Auspex decides to "visit". :)

That's riiiiighht...he said he was going to PA, but......chances are if he showed up it would be to catch it with a camera. :P

Thanks to everyone that had nice words to say.I just had to enter it as its one of those fossils that astound me , thanks again to all those who gave me a vote. And if any of you who might venture down my way i would be happy to take you out for a hunt.
