Ok this is 4.5 in long and has both Google and I stumped.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

This looks like some sort of coral.  Not sure what kind, but googling Tennessee fossil corals might give you some ideas.

 

The Harpeth River Watershed is in Williamson County. That county has exposures of Ordovician, Mississippian, and Devonian Aged strata.

So maybe add Ordovician to your google search - "Ordovican fossil Corals Tennessee" or "Mississippian Fossil Corals Tennessee".
