Brandy Cole Posted May 14 Share Posted May 14 It looks like a weathered piece of limestone. You have a good eye for detail! Limestone often takes on shapes similar to fossil bone, and the texture can appear porous in a way similar to fossil bone. However, porosity in fossil bone tends to run deeper and be more uniform.
