Jakk T Posted May 16 Share Posted May 16 Found this fossil in a large wash-out (arroyo) outside of Radium Springs, NM. Close-up shows segmented compartments in "tail". At least, that's what I think. Fossildude19 Posted May 16 Share Posted May 16 Possibly a nautiloid or Goniatie? Pictures are pretty blurry, but Nautiloids have these types of chambers. Preservation is poor, as well.
