Lincoln Creek Formation; Just one little fella

Neanderthal Shaman

Recommended Posts

Paid another visit to the old road cut. Didn't find much, save for the usual little gastropods and one small Pulalius carapace. Headed to Colorado tomorrow, and will get some photos from the Florissant quarry.

Peace!

Very nice carapace. Congrats! Were the gastropods scaphopods?

Yep, small scaphopods, turrid snails, small moon snails. They are all very common but the snails rarely exceed more than 2 cm at this particular location.
