Michael1 Posted May 27 Share Posted May 27 I found this a while back in a Summerville creek, theres a hole in this bone piece that appears it could be from an Indian making some sort of jewelry not entirely sure though so I was wondering if anyone could give a second opinion. Unless it was found associated with other artifacts in close proximity, the odds of correctly identifying whether it is man-made or its purpose are very slim. If it were an animal claw or tooth, it would be a different story. Perhaps a young boy making ornamentation similar to his father's? It's a coin toss at best. 1 1 1 Mark.
