Cretaceous Period Tiny Marine Teeth

Rockin' Ric

Recommended Posts

Hello all! I love sifting for micro fossils that can visibly be seen with the naked eye. I was using a colander to sift out sand not realizing that tiny teeth were slipping through, then started using a window screen mesh. These teeth didn't go through the mesh. Now, I'm truly amazed at the preservation of these tiny fossils! I'm told that the first pic is of an angel shark named Columbusia fragilis, and the second pic is of a Cretolamna.
