Hey guys, is this a piece of fossilized turtle shell?

 

Mansota Key, Gulf Coast, beach find.

Looks more like a piece of mammoth tooth enamel, to me.


Wait for some other opinions, though.

I agree that this has the characteristics of mammoth tooth enamel.

 

The smooth front and rough bumpy back have a pretty distinctive look to them.
