Found on Holden Beach, NC...Peedee formation

This was a beach find last week while vacationing at Holden Beach, NC.  Probability that is was on the beach due to shoreline restoration dredge ships piping sand, shells and tons of fossils from the Peedee formation layer out in the ocean. Being new at this and with little to zero experience with vertebrate fossils, this looks like a marine bone of some sort to me.
