Found this bone part in Sweden and can’t for the life of me identify it.

Found this bone part I’m working on putting together, and I have absolutely no clue what it might be from. It’s proving very hard to piece together, but it might be easier if I know what it’s supposed to be. I’m probably missing some of the pieces.

Thanks! So is it most likely to be part of the shell or a turtle bone?

Been there, done that.  Nice find by the way!  Some people say that jigsaw puzzles are hard... they haven't tried to piece together a bone in a few dozen pieces!

Oof tell me about it, currently working on a 40cm plesiosaur femur. It’s 5 big parts 20-30 medium and 200+ small pieces. Just the cleaning process is taking forever.

 Looks like a piece of the carapace. If you can get some of the pieces glued together, we might be able to figure out a more precise identification.
