Bill Dye The Travis Guy
Went to Caspersen Beach next to Venice beach Florida a few days ago. If anyone can help with identification I would be very grateful. I know they’re pretty banged up but any help please. Also 15 I think is a lungfish tooth? Maybe?
Frightmares
Most are unfortunately too worn to id, but 10 is sand tiger, 12 is carcharhinus, 13 is lemon, and I see at least one drum fish tooth at the very bottom. No idea on 15… more pictures with different angles may help. 1
Fin Lover
I agree with @Frightmares and will add that 7 also looks like a Carcharhinus to me. 1 1 Fin Lover
debivort
the three at the bottom of the second photo might be drum/wrasse pharyngeal teeth. Particularly the first of them. 1
SawTooth
Could 15 be partial fish beak? Such as parrotfish or wrasse. 1
Meganeura
14 is also a lemon. 5 as well, I think. @SawTooth I agree - I think 15 is a partial fish beak. @debivort also agreed, at least for the top left one. The other 2 I’m not entirely sure on. 1 1 Fossils? I dig it.
