Fish fin fossil?

I found this rock in a creek right next to Lake Erie outside of Cleveland, OH.

It looks like a fish fin? (This is the first potential fossil I've found naturally, so I'm unsure.) The rock itself is either sandstone or limestone. Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated!

It's hard to be certain, but I think this is a rugose coral.

I agree, a cross section through a rugose coral.

Cropped and brightened:
