palochris68
Hello! I bought this tiger canine, it is noted Machairodus sp on the label which accompanied the fossil, possible that it is Machairodus horribilis? What do you think of the general quality of the fossil? Is it a "nice tooth" or something too much and badly restored (I'm not an expert on restorations)? Other question : I've read that the serrations (visible on my tooth) are rather characteristic of juveniles (they then wear down with age). Can you confirm this? Jaybot
Ok, so I am by no means an expert or even very knowledgeable on restoration... but these spots jump out at me. I'd wait for the experts opinion 1 -Jay “The earth doesn't need new continents, but new men.” ― Jules Verne, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea
