New Members MelodyB24 Posted Friday at 11:08 PM New Members Share Posted Friday at 11:08 PM Please help us identify this fossil. It is located in a flat gray stone originally found in a creek bed in southern Indiana. The fossils are shaped like little hoof prints about 4 inches diameter. Most of the stones are 3 to 4 foot in size.
Fossildude19
Possibly a trace fossil, like Illmenichnus? Rockwood
The background of what looks to be smaller, more linear traces tends to reinforce the idea.
