Fossildude19
This might be a scientifically important find. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 IPFOTM -- MAY - 2024 _________________________________________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Looks like polychaete worms (what this appears to be) reach back into the Cambrian (and possibly earlier). This Silurian imprint looks much like the Bearded Fireworms (Hermodice carunculata) that their common name reminds divers to leave alone. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermodice_carunculata Now, how to find an expert in Silurian annelids who might be able to identify this (and determine if it is a Scientifically Important Specimen [SIS])? Cheers. -Ken
