Here's a good primer to read to learn how to distinguish fossil eggs from the many rounded cobbles that look egg-ish:

HI @JorDorf,   I have several of these rocks,  they form in moving water, when trapped between other rocks they just tumble between them, any rough edges are smoothed out and they ultimately look like an egg.:Wink1:
