Impossible to rate a fossil using these fossils. From what we see now, the chance thats its carved is like 90% . There is just a small chance that its real, and poorly preserved. So even with your best chance, the outcome will still be that you end up with a lesser preserved one. Heres a claw of mine, just to compare what to look for. @Phos_01: Great claw! e.g.: Explanation is perfect, bone structure could normally only be seen when...., it´s a carved or eroded claw

I'll stay away from it, hopefully it wont get sold for a to high price. @rocket, one explonation why it might be to high : could it be missidentifyed ? I often see Carch, Abeli, Croc, and Pterosaur fossils getting offered as Spinosaurus, and many claws too. I wouldnt rule out the possibility that this might be a missidentifyed Carcharodontosaurus saharicus or Abelisaurid foot claw ? might be, but, we have had and seen many foot claws..., this one is higher, unusual at the end, only chance to get a clear identification is to have it in the lab... Brevicollis
Ok, so, no real claw then ? Man, I thought my big chance of getting a real Spinosaurus claw was coming. So that means, waiting again.... 1 My account and something about me : My still growing collection : My paleoart : I'm just a young guy who really loves fossils
rocket
better to save some money and wait. Foot claws are not too expensive, will be possible to get one over the months or years
Brevicollis
Yea, you're right. Better wait and save some money, than spending everything on a bad fossil.
