Rockwood
I suspect you have found evidence of an earthquake that fractured the rock at some time in the past.
New Members Andreas68 Posted July 2 Author New Members Share Posted July 2 So It could be the testimony of a disaster?! 😀 I wa struck by the strange shape that appears as of drawn on the surface: It reminds me a Plant or the tail of a fish… Thanks

Brandy Cole
This rock has very interesting coloration, so I can see what drew you to it. But it appears that darker colored minerals have stained the rock to create this appearance.
ynot
I agree with Tim, mineral stain.
Rockwood
I don't doubt that mineral staining is involved. My thought is that the rock itself looks as if it had been fractured in a way that influenced the pattern in the staining. Things just don't line up right.
