New Members problemfree-fossil-losophy Posted Tuesday at 08:05 PM New Members Share Posted Tuesday at 08:05 PM Found what we think is a vertebrae of some sort on the beach in Onslow County, North Carolina and are looking for some help ID-ing it! We have been looking online to find something that looks similar but so far nothing looks quite right. Would love to hear what it might be! Ivaldir
This looks like a partial 2nd cervical vertebrae (axis)? Hopefully someone will be able to ID it. Edited Wednesday at 05:38 AM by Ivaldir

Brandy Cole
Unfortunately, it's often difficult to identify one isolated vertebra, especially with this level of wear. Hopefully someone can help narrow it down some.
