New Members problemfree-fossil-losophy Posted Tuesday at 08:47 PM New Members Share Posted Tuesday at 08:47 PM This one is pretty beat up some I know it might be difficult to ID but nonetheless curious to hear what it might be! Found on a beach in North Carolina. So far all I can think of is maybe a barracuda or alligator tooth based on my research and limited knowledge. (US quarter and measuring tape in cm for scale, propped on a rock in the last photo)
Coco
Sure it isn't barracuda. Fin Lover
Definitely not barracuda, as those are very thin. It's too worn for me to tell if it's a crocodilian or whale. Mosasaur is a possibility at some NC beaches. Which beach did you find it at? @Al Dente Edited Tuesday at 10:36 PM by Fin Lover 3 1 Fin Lover
Al Dente
Croc/gator would be my first guess. Is this Onslow County like your other find?
