Fossildude19
Or a solitary crinoid columnal/ossicle. Or just solitary imprints of columnals. Also, there is a fenestrate bryozoan nearby. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 IPFOTM -- MAY - 2024 _________________________________________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Fossildude19
Stems are made up of individual crinoid columnals/ossicles. Each segment can get disarticulated as they decay. Rockwood
A distinction can be made between segment and ossicle too. Ligaments in the stem connect a varying number of ossicles. Often, they survive long enough that a number of ossicles are preserved in articulation, a segment of the stem.
