New Members DilotheDino Posted July 6 New Members Share Posted July 6 Hi everyone, I recently found this very neat piece from a Pirasocrinid in the Naco Formation in Payson, AZ. This is a partial piece of an anal sac from an “indeterminate Pirasocrinid.” With new provided knowledge from a very helpful user on this site, it is believed that this piece could be a new discovery. I want to share this for others to study and I hope it helps with contributing toward a better understanding about this piece. The piece is safe and protected with me for now but if it is called for further research, I will gladly contribute it for such purposes. Below, I’ve attached more information and pictures. Thank you all INFO Location: Payson, AZ Naco Formation Time Period: Carboniferous (Pennsylvanian Subperiod) ≈ 309 MYA Type of Rock: Limestone, Shale, Siltstone
