Found by my 8 year old today in a stream in Oxfordshire uk

Looks like a cow tooth, but it may be horse. Wait for others to chime in. Most of them are out collecting on summer weekends.

Reminds me more of a bovid upper premolar.  I don't know much about the mammals of UK, but here is an American Bison (in the Bovid family)

Here is cow upper Dentition... We are trying to compare OPs tooth to one of the 3 premolars.. I think it might be a P3 which is proportionally higher than wider. The "curve" on OPs tooth is on the left., so as we flip the skull,  that becomes an upper right P3...  Welcome to TFF, @JDE
