rocket
Heard in some hours ago, Herbert (Herbie) Klinger, one of the most famous researcher about cretaceous ammonites, died on Friday. We had been in contact many times 30 years ago when I worked on cretaceous fossils including ammonites from northern germany. We lost the contact around 2003 as far as I remember, but never forgot his kind and friendly way to communicate and his knowledge R.I.P., Herbie!
